Green Youth Activator event organised by Kokkoya Intern Batch Four

EU SWITCH-Asia Programme, Prevent Plastics Myanmar supports the event idea by Kokkoya Organics Intern’s current batch to provide mentorship for youth entrepreneurs who wish to begin Green Businesses in Myanmar. 

Young Entrepreneurs from around Myanmar (Gangaw, Inle, Bago, Yangon)joined the discussion to learn knowledge & seek substantial experience from business owners to help entrepreneurs to identify green gaps in the market and to find corresponding solutions. 

Experience entrepreneurs from Tree Food, Cafe Deja Brew & Ginga Recycle Arts & Crafts joined the session as mentors to nourish youths with their passion, idea, and technical expertise on how to start and operate a business that cares about the environment.

Personal bonds with their own business and how they tackle the changes to achieve the current state of success are shared during the discussion. 

Young entrepreneurs gain much knowledge starting from the 3Ps(People, Planet, Profit), heart-touching ideas behind business plans and how small changes such as plastic straws to bamboo straws can create a markable impact on the environment. 

Kokkoya Team & Prevent Plastics Myanmar hope that youth will gain turning power to activate their business plan and goals from the knowledge & network gained from this “Green Youth Activator” event.
